The first tab is for movies only. It contains what I consider to be the bare minimum to create an NFO file, but not all of them are required.

Required fields: File Name, Movie Title and Plot
File Name
This need to be the same name as you video file in order for Kodi to read it.
You do not need to add the extension.
Movie Title
This is the Title that Kodi will display for your video.
The checkbox to the right will copy the File Name to this field.
Runtime
You need to enter the runtime of your video in minutes
Director
You can choose a director from the list or type it in.
The Directors List can be edited in the Add Directors windows
Poster Link
Enter the path to your poster located on your computer or enter a URL to the picture.
Keep in mind that the URL needs to end in .jpg, .png (or any other picture format)
Fanart Link
Enter the path to your Fanart located on your computer or enter a URL to the picture.

Genres
KNC comes with a list of standard Genres from IMDB.com.
You can choose up to 3 Genres for your movie.
The Genre List can be edited in the Add Genres window
Create NFO
button
When you are ready, press this button. The NFO will be saved in \Documents\OffBeat Solutions\NFO Creator for Kodi\NFO by default.
You can change this location in Settings
User Rating
Change the user rating here
These icons let you know if your information will be saved as a project or not.
Any manually created nfo files will be saved so you will see the green icon.
Any imported nfo files will not be saved as projects. You will see the red icon.
